It’s easy to find us:
By car:
Coming from the A5 motorway, take the Freiburg-Mitte exit and head towards Freiburg/Donaueschingen on the B31a.
At the B3 exit towards Merzhausen/B31/Stadtmitte/Konzerthaus/main railway station, exit and keep left to turn onto Heinrich-von-Stephan-Straße/B3.
After about 2 km you’ll reach us; we’re on the right-hand side.
By public transport:
Coming from the main railway station, take tram line 4 towards Vauban. Please get off at the Paula-Modersohn-Platz stop. After just a 6-minute walk, you’ll arrive at V7.

Apartment or hotel room?
An apartment offers everything a hotel room does – and much more: spacious living and sleeping areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and the freedom to plan your day independently of breakfast and restaurant hours. Especially for families, groups and longer stays, an apartment is usually the more affordable choice too, since you book an entire apartment rather than individual rooms. And you won’t have to go without your usual comforts: bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included, and our team is available to you personally.
Booking, changes & cancellations
Book your stay conveniently through our website. Depending on the rate you booked, you can make changes and cancellations yourself. To do so, click the “Detailed booking information” link at the bottom of the confirmation email you received right after booking. On the following page, enter the email address you used for the booking along with your last name. You can then view, change or cancel your booking.
Change and cancellation terms depend on the rate you booked. With our flexible direct-booking rates, up to two rebookings, as well as changes and cancellations, are free of charge up to three days before arrival.
Please note that for bookings made through platforms such as Booking.com, the terms stated there apply.
Check-in
Check-in at V7 is self-service via our check-in machine, available at any time – with no fixed staffed hours. You’ll receive your personal access code by email one day before arrival.

Check-out
You can check out comfortably until 11:00 am. When you leave the apartment, please leave the keys on the table and close the door behind you.
A later departure, up to 12:00 pm, is possible by prior arrangement. Please contact our team to arrange this. If you’re leaving earlier than planned, we’d appreciate a message the day before, so that we can plan the cleaning accordingly.
Direct booking – your advantages
When you book directly through our website, you’re guaranteed the best price – with no booking fees and no agency commission. You’ll benefit from flexible change and cancellation options up to three days before arrival, and our team is your personal point of contact before, during and after your stay. Exclusive offers such as our Long Stay Special with the discount code LONGSTAY (20% off from 30 nights) are also only available when booking through our website.
Luggage storage

Pets
Pets are very welcome. We charge €15 per pet per night to cover the additional cleaning involved. Please let us know about your pet before you arrive.
Internet
All apartments are equipped with free Wi-Fi.
Children
We’re happy to provide a cot and a high chair free of charge. Simply reserve these before you arrive, or contact our team during your stay.
Parking
You can park comfortably in our in-house garage for €15 per night, or €20 per night including use of the e-charging station. As spaces are limited, we ask that you reserve in advance. If all our spaces are taken, further spaces are available nearby in the public car park “Solargarage Vauban”.
E-charging station
We support electromobility with our charging station (2 charging points), available in our car park. This means your electric vehicle can be conveniently charged during your stay. Please let us know when reserving your parking space whether you need access to the charging station. Depending on availability, we can reserve a space for you.
Discount for longer stays
For longer stays, you can take advantage of attractive special rates. For stays of 30 nights or more, enter the discount code LONGSTAY when booking through our website to receive a 20% discount on the booking price.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the apartments or anywhere in the building. We reserve the right to charge for any damage to furnishings caused by burns, at replacement value. The additional cost of special cleaning will be charged at €300.
Invoice
Please enter your invoice details in our guest system no later than the day before your departure. An invoice will automatically be sent to the email address you provided on the day of departure. You’ll receive access to our guest system a few days before arrival.
Cleaning
For stays of at least 7 days, we offer a free interim cleaning service on request. This includes cleaning the floors, changing the towels, disposing of rubbish, replenishing toilet paper, coffee and soap, and a light clean of the bathroom and kitchen.
Additional interim cleaning at intervals of your choice is available for €25 per clean. Please contact our team to arrange this.
On departure, we kindly ask guests to leave the apartment swept clean, with the dishes washed. Excessive dirt will be charged for according to the effort required, with a minimum charge of €25. As a deposit, we hold your credit card or passport details. This data is irrevocably deleted on the day of your departure.
Sofa bed
Many apartments have a sofa bed for additional guests. If you’ve booked the apartment for more people and plan to use the sofa bed, you’ll find bed linen and towels for it in the wardrobe. If you have any questions about how to use it, please contact us.
Our services
The rental price includes bed linen, towels, tea towels, washing-up liquid and bin bags. We also provide coffee pods for the coffee machine, laundry detergent for the washing machine, and salt and pepper. Just let us know if you need a top-up or anything else. Final cleaning is included in the price as well.

Some of our apartments have a washing machine.
Payment information
Bookings made through our website can be conveniently paid for by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or PayPal.
Additional guests
We charge €15 per person per night for additional guests.
